The Ethiopian Women Development Organization (EWDO) is a women's rights organization established in December 2023, founded by experienced professionals dedicated to achieving gender equality and social transformation.
We strive to bridge the digital divide and empower women and girls in Ethiopia by enhancing their equal participation in the digital technology sphere. Our work focuses on increasing access to and utilization of digital technologies, combating online violence, and advocating for policies that promote gender justice.
We achieve this through evidence-based advocacy, strategic partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations, and a commitment to digital literacy and skill development.
EWDO envisions a future where women and girls have equal opportunities in the digital world, contributing to a more equitable and prosperous Ethiopia. Our core values of equality, inclusiveness, transparency, and integrity guide all our actions as we work towards a brighter future for Ethiopian women.
